XEN / XCP: a handful of useful notes

A few things that came in handy when running XCP.

The cs_CZ keymap misbehaves on the DOM0 console. Use the English (GNOME) layout when connecting to the DOM0 console over a tunnel, e.g.:

ssh -CN -L 5900:localhost:5901 $HOST

Create a symlink from LVHDSR.py to LVHDSR in /usr/lib/xcp/sm/.

• ▸ /etc/default/grub: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="console=hvc0"
• ▸ /etc/inittab: co:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty hvc0 9600 linux

Enable or disable a CPU from within the guest:

for i in 1 2 3; do echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu$i/online; done
