Several websites of a political party ran as static sites in Jekyll: content in Markdown, templates, and the history of changes in Git. Content authors wrote the texts and the site built itself from them.
Scope
- Running and developing the sites – templates, content structure, changes for the authors' needs (2015–2020).
- A signpost for regional elections (2016) – a single page leading to the sites of the individual regions.
The experience with the template-plus-Markdown model later fed into the framework this site runs on.
